Laura Linney (born February 5 1964 New York New York U.S.) American actress best well-known for her powerful but weak characters. Linney is from a theatre-loving family. Her father, Romulus Linney was a renowned writer. Linney graduated from Arts Theatre School, Moscow in 1986. She then completed an M.F.A. at Juilliard School. in New York City in 1990. She began to perform on Broadway as soon as she arrived, and was later awarded high praise for her performance as a part of Six Degrees of Separation (Six Degrees of Separation) and Hedda Galer.
