Curtis Curtis Smith was born Yarrawonga Victoria Australia, her mother was Carmencita Ojales who is a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan. Her father got married Ojales in 1982. Her youngest sibling Jasmine has also become an actress. Clare is a cousin of theirs on the death of their father. Clare passed away at four months old in 2007 due to an cardiovascular disease.
